that the swat teams were parachuting down, saving everybody at the rally. Then special secret service agent birdie unhypnotized everybody and flew away after the snipers were carried out of the rally. Then later on at another rally Bernie saved Jane because he wasn't hypnotized and saw what was really going on around the stage, but he couldn't tell her because she'd faint. We have secret undercover footage of when agent birdie was signaled into action by the secret service:
