Defending what looks like, at best, fast and loose ethics is a real distraction. And these ethical questions cover so much ground, and they're heavily documented. It just doesn't look good. "Never indicted, let alone convicted" is not a campaign slogan, it's frightening to hear when coming from supporters of a Democratic candidate in our most important primary.

Hard to imagine Secretary Clinton's polling numbers regarding trustworthiness and honesty going lower, but recent events suggest that will happen over the next few months. The court of public opinion will issue its ruling, and it will suggest that Clinton is a poor choice versus having Sanders.
