3. Please be accurate about this! Here is the info I got directly from the CA SoS site.

The words "undeclared" and "independent" are not to be found in the CA registration process.

Here are the valid registrations to vote for Bernie Sanders:

1. You are a registered Democrat. You will be given or mailed a Dem party ballot.

2. You are a registered "No Party Preference" (NPP) voter, and you REQUEST the Democratic Party primary ballot at your polling place.**

Caveat: Do not accidentally register for the "American Independence Party." A lot of people have made this mistake. Just forget the word "independent" when you register.

If you are a Green or anything else, you need to do one or the other: Democratic or NPP (and request the Dem ballot).

The deadline is May 23 to change your registration.
