And that's what he's fighting. He's fighting it having it's claws in our political system because he feels he has to.

Basically, every time he sees someone or talks to someone like that, he is reminded what he's fighting for. That keeps him ready.
His cause is to fight ignorance, a unique position. That's why he remains composed.
