I met Nina Turner last night. [View all]

She spoke at a liberal church in DC after the women's march. Her main points were to stay strong because all civil rights gains have taken long-term perseverance, and to be kind to those who oppose our principles, because they have their own vulnerabilities and if we approach them as if our way is self-evidently correct, they will just tune out.

She's a fantastic motivational speaker. I felt a bit more recharged/ less discouraged after feeling the emotion of what she was saying.

You stay strong too, Nina!
