9. Very significant that the numbers move from Clinton mostly to Sanders

The issues that Sanders raises are going to seized upon by the press. It will be the Clinton platform vs. the Sanders platform.

This is unlike the days leading up to the primaries of 2007. This type of ground favors the Sanders campaign, their message is more salient and effective when not obfuscated by extraneous noise.

With only two dishes on the menu, people will zero in on the ingredients.

P.S. If Sanders is the only challenger running an insurgency against HRC's establishment style campaign, then this will help a lot in gathering donations from rank and file Democrats. There's also a psychological element to this. With several insurgent candidates it's easier to think of one's donation possibly amounting to very little.

But with only one insurgent, that campaign becomes "The Rebel Alliance" (like in Star Wars), and every donation will in fact help fund a direct challenge to the establishment.

Not comparing the other campaign to The Dark Side. Darth Cheney and company have dibs on that.
