useful. No matter which is the Democratic nominee, the Democratic nominee will win blue states and lose red states. Notable exceptions to the prior sentence--and everything has exceptions--was that Alaska was going blue in 2008 before McCain picked Palin and Indiana, of all places, did go blue.
