Read the threads on here about Bernie blowing up Reddit (ichingcarpenter). The younger crowd see Bernie as a game changer, an antidote to business as usual. They see Clinton as Obama's third term. They are totally embracing his grandpa/professor style and loving it.

I think the fact that no young people were at the party in the OP says more about the organizers than Bernie
