Right now Veteran's Memorial Coliseum holds around 12,000 people. Next door the Moda Center holds around 20,000 people.
If we can get enough people to fill the Moda Center, I'm hearing there are negotiations where the venue could get moved to this facility then, if we can fill it up. A lot of this has been done very quickly, but I think if we can show that the numbers will be far more than 12k of people looking to come, that will happen and put Portland on the map of his sites around the country. The earlier we commit the better.
Let's get Fred Armisen and Portlandia to do a skit on Bernie Sanders like he did two years ago on SNL! Let's feel the "Blazin' Bern!"
