I'm a historian of Latin America, specifically Mexican indigenous populations. I'm working on a revision of my doctoral dissertation, which analyzed a small indigenous group and its relations with the Spanish colonial and Mexican national governments. So, the book is geared primarily for historians and anthropologists.
