I'm glad any falsehoods are getting repudiated. At the same time I think it good to maintain a level of dismissal and disdain to this stuff. We don't want to run the risk of playing the part of the fool who argues with a drunk.
The kind of people behind this stuff sober up/move on to greener pastures. The silver lining to all this as that the Sanders campaign has been ritually bloodied, and endured that with flying colors, in this show of getting to know you. 
Yeah, it was pretty extreme, but to be frank this also means that other campaigns that get the same treatment won't be able to claim that they're the victims of special circumstances. Sanders hasn't been treated as some kind of pet of/by the liberal media. Producing crap articles is just part of feeding the maw of an industry with an insatiable appetite for crap that distracts the attention of its jaded customers.
So we need to see staying above this, while dealing with it, as part of the SOP for the Sanders campaign as it moves on to winning the Democratic primaries, and then being victorious in the general election.
