If I might repost what I said elsewhere, as I doubt I can push a fresh spin on it.
This is the Clinton rebound (and it was earned)
But it is a rebound from a campaign with lots of flaws, and which still exist. The Republicans were given a gift in that Secretary Clinton was making unforced errors followed by tone deaf comments. This hurt her campaign.
The Republicans looked like fools as they overplayed their hand, and Clinton adeptly used that against them. She now enjoys a rebound from that.
But the flaws of her campaign, as I see them, (waffling on the TPP, looking weaker than Warren and Sanders on banking and Wall street regulation, progressive taxation, Social Security, and just all things in general her "moderate" positions put her in) will have a negative impact among some Democrats voting in the primaries. And this is in addition to her unforced errors like laughing about being investigated by the FBI. In retrospect it might indeed all turn out to be little more than a joke, but now's not the time to look like the issue is beneath you.
But at the moment Clinton is rightfully basking in the affection of her supporters who've been reassured by her debate performance, while they're all laughing at the discomfiture of Republicans who are being being widely derided in the press.
And yet, the issues of this campaign aren't ever going away; brought to such major prominence by Senator Sanders, they remain to be fought over, and loom with great imminence. No bounce for Secretary Clinton will blind people to how the debates over these issues unfold.
