Though I have to admit I like his older stuff, the Jazz Messenger type stuff. Hubby primarily plays guitar; jazz guitar was his major at Rutgers. He's a computer scientists by day...much more conducive to eating.
I'm a big Jordi Savall fan, and follow the lute player Paul ODette but I also love everything from Bach to Britten. Really the only thing I don't listen to regularly is Stravinsky (which I find too jarring). But if left to my own devices I'm probably going to listen to something like this:
