18. We're waiting on Sanders' campaign events.

The Republicans are doing campaign events without campaigning. When Sanders does a campaign event it will be an official campaign event. Jeb Bush has been doing weekly speeches at various Republican shill events (week before last some evangelicals at CLC, channeled archaic immigration policy, this past week at Liberty University, again channeling evangelicals).

The media may yet still ignore Sanders' campaign events, not appearances on news shows, but events with constituents, potential voters, in the caucus states. And there's no doubt that the media will want to bring about a horse race. I think Sanders has a chance and once it's seen that he has a lot of supporters they will be unable to ignore it.

Feels like poo-pooing Sanders' roll out to me when the thing hasn't actually started yet. It's not about formalities. The big campaign events don't start until then!
