to understand both within and without the Party.

But I'm guessing you meant the vitriol on this site. That is indeed hard for me to understand as well. Especially since the Party is moribund. We will simply never be able to compete with the GOP in terms of money. Our only hope is to get the poor and working poor to vote if the Party is going to quit withering.
