12. Remember when those magnetic ribbons exploded on the scene

It was during our foray into Iraq. Yellow or red, white n' blue ribbon magnets on the back of every SUV and Cowboy Cadillac on the road. Every "patriot" doin' their doody, right? Right.
I saw display cards of them for sale in a convenience store and looked close at the bottom of those displays..... MADE IN CHINA Shit - even simple printed magnets supposedly signifying patriotism - had to come from China. Of course, to the rubes buying and applying them - that irony was never even considered.

We have an American flag flying - 20 feet above our house. I replace it when it starts to fade. And I always check to see where my flags are made.
