(57,936 posts)You never know. I remember when Dick Gephardt was considered to be a really strong candidate at the outset of the 2008 campaign.
Hillary has not spoken to a member of the press for quite some time. She is not the quickest on her feet as we saw in 2008. Don't take things for granted.
Bernie is really quick on his feet. He knows what he wants to get across and he gets it out there in interview after interview. He is educating voters about our appalling economic inequality and our failing infrastructure as well as the folly of abandoning ourselves to the morbid twitches of our military/industrial complex every time they get the urge to kill, kill, kill.
To be quick on your feet you have to be not only smart but rested, in pretty good health, energetic and focused. I'm not sure that Hillary is. She is placing herself in well controlled situations. That is a problem to watch. She knows that the nomination is hers to lose, and she may lose it. She very well may.
Bernie may be our candidate. If he is, I hope you will support HIM.
Something odd about the fact that Hillary is not talking to the press. She was really, really unaware of what has been going on in the real America, and I think she is realizing it. You do not know whether she will make it through to the general election. Nobody does. Same for all the candidates.
