68. Too much of this is happening as of late.

Important and interesting people on DU are leaving. I know these are stressful times. Sometimes we need to take a break. I hope those who leave will join us again when things get better.

I have been around since 2005, have seen so much and have felt as others do. I don't post too often but I follow DU dail.y (many times) I can't get into arguments with posters. I pitch in when I can, avoid controversy, appreciate most of the opinions of others but I feel thatI must pull back on my postings when I know I will get into a situation where I must follow through with my opinion when I know I will be flogged! Sometimes those who leave do so for personal reasons and that is understandable. I am too old to cope with some of the stress so I avoid it.

This next year will be a field day. I wish us all luck and hope our members just avoid the stress and keep reading.
Don't leave, just read, curse if you must but don't go way.
