13. I Had a Similar Thought

I waitressed for a while in college. Though I knew that there were a lot more, I got exactly ONE credit card tip in my paycheck the entire time I worked at that restaurant. Ever since, I made sure that I tipped well and that it was on the table, never on the credit card. You are relying on the honesty of whoever is doing the books and that is hard to come by in some establishments. The tip is between me and the server, and nobody else.
