He worked with Hillary's campaign in 2008, and I read that many people did not approve of his sleazy tactics. They were glad when the campaign ended and he left.
But he recently started advising Hillary's campaign on polling. He has a terrible reputation, and I am sorry she has allowed him back into her political life.

It is my understanding he has formally changed his registration to the Democratic Party.
