DU obviously doesn't consider long-term posters who've voluntarily drawn thousands of comments and participation in threads that took time, thought and commitment to contribute to this site. As compared to the above poster whose only contributions have been mostly vicious and mean snarky replies. So many great, brilliant, witty and kind posters gone, while those who are obviously favoured are allowed to post blather day after day. I hope they quadruple their contributions to the site .... if money ever meant anything here, they'll have to make up for those of us who feel we've been used, and probably even much laughed at behind the scenes for all the many hours we spent trying to contribute interesting material to discuss as progressives - even though we probably were never on the same page we thought we were here. The joke is on all of us. Thankfully there's another new space, with over 650 members in just a few weeks, where many of those brilliant people are now contributing and doing real things to make a difference.

Manny deserved better. As did many others.
