As we get older we get much more comfortable. We no longer can be drafted and have to go fight in another damn war some asswipe has engineered. We have a little more cash and all these damn anchors hanging on us, holding us back from action that we know we should take to further peace and planetary health.

Yes, we get more selfish as we age and begin considering our own benefits rather than the community's. And that's how come there are so many republicans and grifters.

Thank gawd we have youth like the OP who have not yet succumbed to old farts' selfishness. Eh?
