(58,785 posts)to get away for decades with calling himself independent and attacking Democrats constantly even while he's voted 96% of the time as a +1 to the Democratic caucus. And much of the 4% is the tending of his donors he calls corruption in everyone but him. He's been as inseparable in voting behavior as he identifies himself entirely different verbally.
After going on 4 years of this, I see two Senator Bernie Sanders: One has been voting as a +1 to the legislation of his despised "corrupt" Democratic colleagues for his entire career, plus voting to tend his donors. In this way he has been able to keep his extremely elite privileged job in spite of lack of any distinguishing achievements.
The other, the I-Sanders, is a wannabe socialist revolutionary who seems to honestly despise what his +1 self is while pretending he doesn't exist. Or maybe it's not pretense. I've seriously wondered for some time now what he sees when he looks at himself, or if he does.
In any case, "I'm rubber, you're glue" has long been Sanders' strategy for going after Democrats. And it's past time he's seen for what he is, both of him.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
