The deplorables comment was made into a bigger deal after the election than it was during the election.

HRC didn't say that people in rural areas were deplorable, nor do I believe the evidence indicates that the voter there took it that way. She was talking about people who were responding to Donald Trump's campaign of hate. And she also pointed out that many of his voters were responding to real issues, like economic concerns.

Sometimes a person's words can be successfully twisted, but I don't think it happened here. We did a good job of delivering the message that we are stronger together, but that was overridden by the fake email scandal.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
