Excellent example: She-the-People! BS was a complete failure at that conference and everyone knew it. That was the general, widespread and accepted consensus among most reasonable observers, reporters and pundits. (Only one sub-group, obviously, though it was the greatest thing since paper napkins... but that's a discussion for Carolyn's.)

In any case... all I'm trying to say here is that it's becoming clearer and clearer which candidates have depth and vision and understanding... and which ones just have rote and repetitive "talking points".

What I'm seeing is that the American People are looking for actual solutions, not just a laundry list of what we "oughta" and "needta" be doing. Anyone can list problems... it takes someone with vision and acumen to ALSO be able to solve the problems in a realistic way.

Going one step further, it takes even MORE skill to understand what's possible and what's not... to be able to anticipate the costs, and to be willing to compromise and find common ground in order to get there.

Honestly, I'm just not seeing those qualities in BS. I guess I just have higher expectations when it comes to what I want in a nominee. Clearly, I'm not alone.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It sounds like a dodge. It sounds like he doesn't have an answer... like he was caught off-guard. NurseJackie May 2019 #4
