The blue states might even fight losing control of their schools. My dad spent 20 years as president of the local school board in Illinois in a very blue county, it would never fly there.
I totally agree that teachers should make more money, they have never been paid properly. But we need to get control of the states again in order to make that happen. We worry so much about national elections, candidates make it sound like they can impact issues they have no control over to win and then people are disappointed.
