(67,782 posts)There are almost 11 million millionaire households in the US, and there are 127 million households in the US. So 8.6% of all households are millionaire households.

There are also about 50 million people over 65 (no numbers for over 75, but most people retire at 65 and have no appreciable increase in income/net worth after retirement)
And these numbers represent "millionaires", not "two million-aires".
So even if every millionaire household is over 65 (a HUGE stretch, I'd wager that it's much less than half of them, but whatever!), you're saying that 78% of all people over 65 are stupid, uneducated, and poor money managers. Of course, if we extend that "millionaire" statistic to "two million-aire", the number of "stupid, uneducated, poor money managers" increases to maybe 90% or even 95%.
