In fact if you had income below the medium average of your state Chapter 7 pretty easy and all credit card debt and medical debt is discharged.
Above the average the bill tried to push people into Chapter 13.
Also there are deductions to lower your income and the income is also based on family size.
Also any retirement accounts are not considered income.
