When the candidate actually pronounced a policy, it was quite acceptable, and more importantly had a chance of getting through Congress: Decriminalization, retrospective erasure of criminal records for possession with legalization remaining with the states. No one should be in jail for smoking pot.
Bidens record on Climate Change misses (or should do) 2009 - 2019, the years he has been out of the Senate. He has yet to announce a detailed policy.
What his spokesperson has said is As president, Biden would enact a bold policy...to tackle climate change in a meaningful and lasting way, and will be discussing the specifics of that plan in the near future, .
Bidens campaign has dismissed the suggestion he will be proposing a middle of the road approach.
Anyone can cite (and characterise a voting record. Marking Bidens record on the GND while he was not in the Senate is mendacious and speculative. Biden is getting zeros to policiy he is yet to announce. Greenpeace should know better, but perhaps they do.
