(26,264 posts)somewhat middle sized city may not be the experience one has with the senate or house of representatives, but when the number of bills being passed by either house (the house since in democratic control has been passing quite a few bills compared to the republican controlled senate) is next to zero, and it seems most of these senators' time is being spend in sitting on committees mouthing off (not the democratic senators/representations), I'd say running a city via the job of mayor is great experience.
And with the idiot rump being 72 years old?! Look at what this idiot has done in a little over 2+ years. A giant tax break for his 1%ers buddies, and that's about it. He's mouthed off at just about everybody, no one wants to deal with motor mouth/gutter mouth, and he failing in every category of dealing with effective and efficient government. His actions are not planned/coordinated as recent press articles have mentioned and thus, he fails at everything. He's insulting our allies right and left, and his ego and personal cravings are getting in the way.
Crap, I almost wish a 12 year old girl scout or boy scout is president. They would do a far better job than worthless rump. But, being realistic, I'll take Pete, at 37 years old. If the framers of the constitution and our amendments thought that 37 years old is too young to be president, they would have said so.
They didn't. We need at minimum, NO trump. Doubled and redoubled.
Age is not equated with wisdom...believe me, I've (and we all have at DU) known some idiots older than I and younger than I, do stupid and idiotic things.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
