to the ridiculous claim that one particular candidate's announcement bump was "real and lasting"

So welcome back to the reality party. Yes... numbers fluctuate... and when they change due to factors without permanence (like candidacy announcements) they tend to revert to about their prior level.

Yes, Biden seems to have a clear lead, and absent bad news I would be happy to vote for him if it continues through the NC primary...

... but nothing of substance has happened yet. Actual debates followed by winnowing... followed by additional debates and public attention... followed by actual primary voting... will absolutely shake things up substantially.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
