If beating Trump is all that matters, you can't be a gaffe machine. If you are, the entire GE will be about what a loser Biden is. Trump gets away with stuff because he has a well-honed media strategy to control the narrative. Biden let this one get away from him, and it's not the first time.

I'm putting this in terms you'll understand. Electability. Being electable means you can control your media image as a down-to-earth, smart, experienced statesman. But Trump will play his tricks and turn Biden into a hapless, angry old fool. Is Biden prepared for this? Are you?
