(4,341 posts)Everyone want a more united congress, a more united senate, but it is unrealistic, and Biden is using it as a campaign promise that he has to know he will not be able to fulfill, Obama was not able to do it and Biden was VP during the Obama Administration. Don't you want to know why Biden was not able to do it then? What do you think will allow him to do it now when republicans are twice more not willing to work with Democrats?
If Biden supporters want to believe his fantasy, then fine, but don't come out calling anyone who knows Biden is just using what he has to know is impossible (bring Republicans to the table), as trolls or Putin lovers, or any name.
By ignoring Biden's weaknesses, and there are many the republicans will bask on, we become like the republicans, fanatics, people who do not want to see the reality of the situation because it is more important to follow the leader we like.
Lets learn and work towards electing the best candidate, if that ends up being Biden, fine, but lets make sure we don't elect a person the republicans know well and will know how to attack, one who will stand and not allow republicans to make a game of their agendas and political history. If we want to defeat the republicans, get rid of the buffoon, McConnell, Barr, etc. then we must remove are preferences and study very well all candidates to elect the best.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
