We can all be "puffed up and self righteous" at times. Sarandon is not evil. I'll bet you share at least 90% of what she wants done in America. Its just that she's impatient, and angry at all the BS that keeps the county a step behind other democracies, and thinks its already unsalvageable and needs to be blown up, politically speaking.

The way I look at it, there is plenty of pressure from the extreme right. Powerful pressure. There is bound to be at least some pressure from the extreme left as well. Its only natural. And IMO, I think this is a healthy and is a normal quality of democracy. If I must endure one extreme I want both to balance it out at least.

That element will always be there. In the end though, she herself, only had one vote.
