In reply to the discussion: The reason I don't think Trump will start a war is the same reason why Biden is the wrong candidate [View all]betsuni
(29,131 posts)88. Reminds me of what our pal Susan Sarandon said about the last nominee:
More dangerous than Trump. "I believe she is more dangerous. She did not learn from Iraq, and she is an interventionist, and she has done horrible things ... . I think we'll be in Iran in two seconds." They'll probably at least try to do the same to Biden if he's the nominee. Trump is the peacemaker and the Democrat the warmonger. (Of course our pal did not learn anything from 2016 because she is an idiot.)
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
Interesting. Maybe that's why we are not in a war yet, despite all of Trump's bluffing.

Trump's win had nothing to do with Iraq...he eked out an electoral college win in the blue wall

You don't know how many people in those three states disliked Hillary for her war vote.

Warren will be painted as a socialist as well...the difference is it won't work with Biden.

Silly argument. HRC's vote for the Iraq War didn't stop her from winning the popular vote in 2016.
