10. Scrutiny would be helpful to her, not harmful

Our candidates need to understand that their past and their positions are going to be misconstrued in all directions.

Kamala in particular would benefit from early practice in defending her past in likable fashion because IMO instincts on the fly are not exactly her greatest strength. She needs to know which words/themes to use and which ones to avoid.

For example, if Hillary had merely said hate groups instead of deplorables she possibly could have survived the Comey letter and won narrowly instead of losing narrowly.

Again, I'll use the Marcia Clark example of a tough aggressive prosecutor who was accustomed to always being on offense and had no idea how to react once she was unexpectedly and unfairly on defense. Clark could have used a practice trial and essentially a primary season. Kamala Harris receives it. It is a win, not a loss.

primary today, I would vote for:
