(88,831 posts)they can blockage all over everywhere about burning it all down, starting some revolution, overthrowing the power structure, and other such drivel, they dont have to live with, or IN, the results of all that.
The burn it all down/blow it all up crowd has no not a clue in the world how all that chaos and destruction is going to look. And taste. And smell. And feel. They cant even guess in their wildest dreams what it would be like if we DID burn down/blow up yyfcall our governmental infrastructure. The underpinnings of the most basic services that our institutions provide, the many es sential services that government provides - locally AND nationally - that so many of our fellow Americans want, need, and depend upon.
Once you HAVE burned it all down/blown it all up, you still have to get good, you still want to flick the light switch on and have your room lit up after dark. You still expect to drive up to the gas station and get a fill-up. You still think your life should continue as normal like it always has. And with that kind of chaos youre talking about - that we all kinda expect - youre going to be trying to achieve some form of normalcy amid smoldering ruins, piles of ash and wreckage, and nobody around to help you because everybody around you is just as screwed as you are. Think Venezuela right now. Think Puerto Rico after the hurricane. Think total societal breakdown.
Susan Sarandon May be able to drive away to mansion like, but you probably wont have that option or that kind of safety net when it all goes to Hell around you. Which is precisely what youll have after youve burned it all down and/or blown it all up. And Susan Sarandon wont come galloping over to your rescue. Her type will be long gone.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
