Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Michelle Obama won't comment on Biden apology, holds off on endorsement [View all]MineralMan
(151,930 posts)8. Yet another misleading headline.
As anyone would expect, President Obama and even Michelle Obama will not be endorsing any primary candidate. Anyone who expected them to doesn't understand Democratic politics at all.
There will be no endorsements from either of them until after the Democratic Convention next summer. Then, they will heartily endorse and support the Democratic nominee.
For pete's sake!
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Yes. Headline is deliberating misleading to create an impression opposite to what she said.

I'm not Biden-sensitive (my 4th choice at best), I just think it's an ambiguously written headline,

It's not 100% correct unless Michelle had been planning to announce an endorsement.

No, it actually isn't. The concept is called conflation, and what it looks like
