Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: For those of you who support Warren, Buttigieg or Harris.. [View all]BigOleDummy
(2,274 posts)8 years ago Mr. Obama won a astounding victory. 8 years ago. In an election that was relatively free from outside influence. In the intervening 8 years (I cannot stress that time frame enough), trump and his party of traitors have had 8 more years of Rush and fox and Alex to drill into the cultists and move them even farther to the right. We've seen state sponsored interference from at least one hostile power since that election. I may be a BigOleDummy but I cannot see Mr. Putin leaving this upcoming election alone. I would go so far as to say that Mr. Kim will get involved too. With the republicans blocking all attempts to ensure free elections explain to me how this upcoming election will be even remotely like the campaign from 8 years ago?
Mr. Biden is a nice enough man, as I mentioned in my original reply but in many ways in THIS election "nice guy" is not enough. We need a FIGHTER and sadly I just do not believe that Mr. Biden is that. Ms. Warren and Ms. Harris to the contrary ARE fighters and can be counted on counter the narratives that Mr. Putin, Mr. Kim and Mr. McConnell will trot out for the masses.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
