ever since Kennedy debated Nixon.
It's worse for women, but it's true for men as well; Bruce Babbit should have never changed from glasses to contacts, and Paul Simon's appearance was comic fodder.
It mattered with HRC, and the right wing went nuts for Sarah Palin until she started talking; they've already noticed Gabbard. It's a plus for Harris, and it's a strike against some other well-qualified qualified candidates.
No, it's not fair; yes, it shouldn't matter. But let's not be naive, please.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
