The same bill had been introduced by the Democratic congressmen in every session of Congress until and including the 115th.

HR 676 had enjoyed wide sponsorship by Democrats in every session of Congress for the last 15 years and is considered by advocates and experts as the gold standard of true single-payer Medicare for All legislation.
