Of and for Biden's speech yesterday, even from people who are not thrilled with his candidacy. I think it's because he's the first to nail a strong message and send it directly to the voters--this is a battle for the soul of the country, this is a battle for democracy and decency. This is the moment we define ourselves not merely as Democrats but as Americans.

There was a lot of controversy when Joe Biden first announced this message, criticism that he was acting too much like a nominee rather than candidate. However, in light of last weekend's bloody events and the GOP/Trump response, the message about who we are is amplified through circumstance and grief.

Why?

Because it's the right message. It was on the nose when Biden first uttered it and there's no doubt that it is the exactly right message now.

This is how we win!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
