For Senate is a very tricky PR situation. If you wait until your #s are so low you can't get in a debate, you will look like a real loser then. Given the turmoil at border and killings in El Paso, it's a perfect time to devote time to your own state.
Although what about VP? Seems to me you'd need to drop out early if that was in the cards too.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
