Whenever I hear him talk about something I feel like "he gets it". At the same time he can get to the core of an issue in a way that has allowed him to win in a republican state as a progressive.
And specifically, he and Bernie Sanders were the only 2020 candidates to co-sponsor a good bill in the last session that would have fixed some of the worst issues with the H-1B program. Of course the bill went nowhere. But he was smart enough to sign onto a very good bill on an issue that most Dems either ignore or are on the wrong side of. But it's an issue that is core to his platform of "the Dignity of Work" - and he gets it.
If he runs, barring some other major differentiator cropping up that puts another candidate ahead of him for me, he's going to get my vote.
