141. IMO the Kennedy name still has a lot of cachet, but for Joe Kennedy it doesn't to the same degree

Aug 2019

it had for RFK, Teddy, and John Jr.

In fact, when I was looking for that Atlantic article and googled

joe kennedy iii

the "People also asked" questions Google included among the first results started with:

Is Joe Kennedy III related to JFK?

Which indicates that a lot of people simply aren't aware who he is.

That's why I said it would help if he had a higher national profile before running for president. Becoming a senator or governor first would help.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
