it had for RFK, Teddy, and John Jr.
In fact, when I was looking for that Atlantic article and googled
joe kennedy iii
the "People also asked" questions Google included among the first results started with:
Is Joe Kennedy III related to JFK?
Which indicates that a lot of people simply aren't aware who he is.
That's why I said it would help if he had a higher national profile before running for president. Becoming a senator or governor first would help.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
