(10,721 posts)29. Even if one thinks he's right, pushing that narrative is incredibly stupid.
Republicans try very hard to drill into the public consciousness the notion that the Democratic Party has moved far to the left, while the Republican Party has remained steady/static. That's absurd, of course, but an oft-repeated lie is believed by many.
The last thing we need is for Democrats to contribute to that same narrative.
