I don't recall the other candidates complaining about the media covering her candidacy because of her gender or racial background.
Beto was more strategic in entering. He waited until the crowd entered. And he's popular and has charisma.
Harris could have waited, too.
I expect Biden will get a lot of coverage, when he enters, too. Not because of white male privilege. But because it's a strategic time to enter.
The fanfare when they enter isn't that important. What matters is the numbers, as their campaigns progress. Biden in the past has done okay in the beginning, but then goes nowhere.
To be jealous of coverage is in effect being jealous of someone else's popularity. You can't force the people to like a candidate. They decide for themselves who they are drawn to, as a candidate.
