(32,640 posts)And, judging from your posts about the bill, I think you skimmed the it, and didn't understand much of it.
Bills are written for the use of lawmakers and lawyers, not citizens. They require crossreferences to other laws or bills that are affected and have to use legalese and very specific policy terminology.
Unless you have a background in health policy, or read an explainer, you don't fully understand what's really in that bill. You are going on faith in a politician who is running for office.
I know that Senator Sanders doesn't consult the leading non-partisan, self-funded health policy analyst think tanks, in fact he's been hostile to one that crunched the numbers in his bill. Now it's gotten to the point where his supporter call any dissent from Sanders' dogma on M4A, no matter how independent and expert, "bunk." He even gives credibility to a conservative think tank that he mistakenly thought validated some of his numbers....
Why do you think that Medicare isn't a comprehensive as M4A?
