223. Some gaffes/misstatements are different than others..

..for lot of reasons.
The biggest issue is the media, which has normalized Trump's insanity, non-stop lying, malignant narcissism and stochastic terrorism. But they'll fine-tooth-comb anything coming from a non-Republican.

Which leads to this - Biden referring to "poor kids being just as bright as white kids" is the sort of cringe-worthy media disaster that would kill him in a debate with Trump - even if Trump continued to lie in a torrential stream. He is expected to lie. There are different rules for him; hell, he violates federal law daily, it seems, by the time he's consumed his first McWhatever and coke.

So.. "Shouldn't they also change how we cover gaffes and missstatements"? -- well yah, but who's going to make the Fourth Estate (finally) start behaving again like the .. Fourth Estate?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
