going bankrupt every year citing medical reasons is properly accounted for in the total costs of our current health care system?

I imagine they do count the cost of those write-offs specifically against the health care industry, how could they not?

However other creditors would be adversely affected as well by those bankruptcies, mortgages, car loans, credit cards, private loans etc .etc. etc.

As it is in 2017 we spent 3.5 trillion dollars on health care, might the actual costs to our nation be even higher from the current system?
